Virtual serverhosting

Virtual server consists of dedicated resources of a physical machine (disk, memory, processor...). Those, ready to use servers, our clients rent. The service allows customers to use the server resources (without having to worry about the hardware - that's our job) if hosting services that are too restrictive for them, and a separate dedicated server on the other hand is unnecessarily oversized. Our service of virtual serverhosting offers the benefits of a leased dedicated server (have the same functionality), is considerably cheaper and each client can select any combination of virtual server he wishes to have.

Rack server Our servers are based on the highest quality Intel hardware and VMware virtualization software. As the preinstalled base of virtual servers we offer Linux (Ubuntu distribution - today one of the most popular distributions or Debian, BSD systems, CentOS etc.), but even that can be changed according to the needs of client. On virtual servers customer has the option to install the software whenever he needs, and then he picks responsibility for correct installation, proper operation and use of those applications (client makes software management on the server).

Rack server It's up to you what features you want to use. Already in the basic offer "Basic Pack" (for an excellent price, only €6 included VAT / month) you will have enough resources to operate a smaller sites, databases, version control systems, e-mails etc. Please pay attention to the tables below, which lists all the basic characteristics of the "Basic Pack" (including description). In these tables you will also find prices for other packages and premium services from which you can choose in accordance to your needs.

If you wish to modify the service or package and can't find this option in the tables, let us know - we will configure the service as requested.

Basic pack
HDD size 10 GB You will be given 10 GB disk space (operating system occupies about 500 MB).
Memory 512 MB (DDR 3) You will be able to use 512 MB of a very fast and reliable DDR 3 memory.
Processor (CPU) 600 MHz You will be able to use 600 MHz processor (all of our processors are powerful 4-core Intel i7 and i5 2,66+ GHz with 8 MB cache). This CPU will be in your server as a virtual processor. If you want more virtual processors (and thus increase speed) it is possible to order them.
1 static IP address
Network bandwidth of 1000 Mbps There will be an Ethernet connection with a minimum speed of 1000 Mbps.
Unlimited data transfer
Unlimited number (and size) of databases, e-mails, ftps, domains etc. It is up to you what you want to install on your virtual server. We will not limit (as others do) the size databases, mails, etc. Sources that you pay for are for your disposal and it's up to you how to use it. You accept the responsibility for correct installation, proper operation and use of your applications - you manage your server software.
Support by e-mail We offer a free support by e-mail (helpdesk@it-e.cz), where you can consult in case of any doubt.
Connection to the server using SSH protocol Basic connection management to the server is provided by SSH, but you can set up a connection which suits you.
Server configuration changes Any time you can request a free change of the hardware configuration for your server (for example, increase / decrease the memory size, CPU speed).
Pre-installed OS Ubuntu, Debian, BSD, CentOS or other Our staff will pre-install the server and set up accounts. You can order almost any operating system you wish to use. It is possible to request the installation of a database, mail server (such as Postfix), web server (eg Apache) and so on.
Setting up the service for free With us you do not pay for service set up.

Server administration by our staff If you have any problem with the configuration of software on your server, it is possible to pay assistance from our workers. It is also possible to order this service permanently. In the long term, prices are given assistance agreement, in the term collaboration the price is of €16 with VAT / hour.	€?
